Desktop Dictation Microphones

Desktop, or stationary, dictation follows the use and workflow of the SpeechMike, or Directrec type of dictation. The user dictates a voice file, while at his or her desk into a dictation program. The voice file is then transferred over to the typist for transcribing. The primary use for these in the last few years, however, has shifted to the the use with speech recognition programs such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking. The programmable buttons and high quality microphones make these the perfect solution for using speech recognition directly into a word processing program, or EHR / EMR.
